Workflow and Post Production
A strong working relationship between post-production and the DIT is essential for a smooth production process. It starts early in pre-production where the DIT creates a workflow with post. This will include delivery specs, and a process for ensuring the dailies colorist will be able to replicate what is created on set. This can also extend to a visual effects team where different cameras or methods might be used to capture footage.
